What is Wordstamp?

As one of the decentralized applications (Dapps) built on the Vexanium blockchain network, Trusti (https://trusti.id/) continues to expand its realm of work. Now document validation and content protection can be done with Wordstamp. This timestamp plugin allows readers to verify the integrity of each article to protect the authenticity of the content. This plugin works on the WordPress platform, which has up to 30 percent of total users worldwide.

Wordstamp works by verifying the integrity of articles using blockchain technology. This plugin can put a timestamp on every article. Each stamp will be given an identity (hashed) and will be automatically recorded permanently on the Vexanium blockchain network where the storage is located in a public database or what is known as a ledger. Thus, it can be seen that the data stored is valid data. A timestamp is a coded time sequence that identifies when a particular event occurred, usually providing a date and time, sometimes accurate to a fraction of a second.

Wordstamp Features

Departing from concerns about the unauthorized content, the presentation of news or information in a reading media is very susceptible to manipulation and being tampered with for the sole benefit of individuals. Thus, data users or readers have difficulty knowing the validity of the information. Embedding files on the blockchain proves that the document exists at a certain point in time, because the application and enrichment of blockchain technology in the cyber media sector is very important in increasing readers’ trust.

The following features are provided by Wordstamp:

  • Automatically saves and timestamps your content on the IPFS and Vexanium Blockchain
  • Transparency: enhances trust and claims authenticity
  • Evidence of existence at certain moments at certain times
  • Become your own notary
  • Displays a blockchain certificate pop-up on your website
  • Let your visitors verify when and how your content changed
  • Downloadable blockchain certificate as proof of existence
